Shelby Richardson

Hometown: Oregon, WI
Shelby started the Oregon women's team in 1977. She has competed in every National Championship since 1980. She has represented the US on the National Team in 8 World Championships or World Games. She won bronze medals in the 1990 and 2002 World Championships, 1993 and 2001 World Games. She also won medals at the club level at 2 additional World Championships. She is still competing. Shelby was elected to the 2nd Vice-Presidency in 1992. In 1994 she was elected Secretary and was re-elected in 96, 98 and 2000. Presently serving third term as Pres.

Bruce Ebnet

Hometown: Kasson, MN
Bruce first competed in 1996. He competed at the World Championships in the Netherlands his first year. Since then he has represented the United States in Taiwan, Rochester, Ireland and England. Bruce competes in both the indoor and outdoor disciplines. He is well-regarded in the tug of war world. He was elected to 1st Vice President in 2001

Hometown: Elko Mn. Is active in promoting the sport. He is associated with the DJs Tug of War club.

Hometown: Hollandale, WI
Amy began competing in 1993 to help the Oregon ladies represent the USA at the World Games in the Netherlands. She received a bronze medal and was instantly in love with the sport. Since then she has competed in Sweden, Australia, England, Japan, Scotland, and Rochester! She has earned two bronze medals in open World Championship competitions, two bronze medals at indoor World Games and two bronze medals at indoor World Championsips. This is her first elected position with the board.

Harold "Tiny" Heindel

Hometown: Manchester Iowa. Pulls with Power Train. Steve has been active in Tug of War since 1979.
Hometown: Gratiot, WI
Tiny first competed in tug of war in 1968. Tiny competed for 28 years. Tiny's first office was that of 1st Vice President in 1987. In 1988 he was elected Chief Judge and has held that position since. Tiny was certified as an international judge in 1988 and has judged in every World Championship since that time. He also has judged at the 1989 World Games in Germany and in three World Police and Fire Games. Tiny is still actively judging in the USA and at World events.

Larry began competing in 1974. He represented the U.S. national team at the 1985 World Games in England. Larry was elected to the post of International Representative in 1991 and was re-elected in '93, '95' '97, '99 and '01. He became and international judge in 1988. He has judged in in two World Championships, 1992 in Ireland and 1998 in Rochester, MN. He has also served as the head official for three World Police and Fire Games.

Dick Richardson

Hometown: Oregon, WI
Dick competed in tug of war from 1970-1980 with the multiple teams including Oregon. He coached the Oregon mens and womens teams from 1977-1998. He won bronze medals coaching the U.S. women at the 1990 World Championshisps and the 1993 World Games. Also the outdoor club 2004. Dick was first elected as the International Delegate in 1992.

Mike began competing in tug of war at the age of 15 in 1986. He is still competing and has been involved in 11 World and European Championships and World Games. In 1995 he was eleceted as the 1st Vice President. He was re-elected in 1997. In 1998 he was elected to his first term as President. In 2000 he was re-elected as President.

Katie Legler
Hometown: New Glarus WI
Katie began pulling with the Oregon team in 1999. She competed in the World Championships in South Africa in 2002 winning her first medal at the ripe old age of 16 years old. Since then Katie has competed in 3 more WC and won one more medal outdoor 2004 Championships and one in the 2006 Indoor Championships.
Katie has many more years to offer the sport and is hoping to bring fresh ideas and energy to the board.
